To the Noble and Devout People of the Beautiful Nation of Sri Lanka,
Greetings and warm regards!!
On the auspicious occasion of Vesak, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and sincere best wishes to the enlightened and spiritually-minded people of Sri Lanka.
Vesak is a symbol of the light of wisdom, compassion, and liberation from suffering—a sacred heritage that calls hearts toward peace, harmony, and mutual understanding.
May our world become ever more enriched with peace, kindness, and awareness, and may the noble values embodied in this blessed occasion continue to inspire humanity.
I warmly congratulate all followers of Buddhism on this joyous and sacred day and wish the people of Sri Lanka peace, happiness, and prosperity.
