The Sri Lanka–Nepal Business Council, in collaboration with the Embassy of Nepal in Colombo and Mastercard, will host a special musical event to commemorate the 69th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Sri Lanka and Nepal. Mastercard has joined the celebration as the Title Sponsor of the event.
To mark its partnership, Country Manager for the Mastercard, Ms. Mahesha Amarasuriya officially handed over the title sponsorship cheque to the officials of the Sri Lanka Nepal Business Council at a ceremony held at the Embassy of Nepal in Colombo Thursday July 9. The commemorative musical event will celebrate nearly seven decades of enduring friendship and diplomatic relations between the two countries, bringing together members of the diplomatic corps, government representatives, business leaders, and other distinguished guests.
The Embassy of Nepal extends its sincere gratitude to Mastercard for partnering as the Title Sponsor and to the Sri Lanka–Nepal Business Council for its continued commitment to promoting stronger ties between Nepal and Sri Lanka.
Speaking on the occasion, Vijay Kumar Raut, Charge d’ Affaires of the Embassy of Nepal, expressed his sincere appreciation to Mastercard for its generous support and acknowledged the continued efforts of the Sri Lanka–Nepal Business Council in strengthening bilateral economic, cultural, and people-to-people relations between Nepal and Sri Lanka.
