The Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Nepal, Vijay Kumar Raut, joined members of the diplomatic community at a farewell reception hosted in Colombo by Ms. Jayne Howell, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the U.S. Embassy in Sri Lanka, on Wednesday, August 5.The event brought together members of the diplomatic community to bid farewell to Howell and recognise her dedicated service during her tenure in Sri Lanka.
Raut expressed his appreciation to Howell for her efforts in fostering strong partnerships among diplomatic missions in Colombo.
He noted that her engagement with fellow missions had contributed to regional cooperation and strengthened people-to-people ties.Raut also conveyed his best wishes to Howell for success in her next assignment.
